Peep's Story...
"It's puppy time! My name is PEEP, and I'm a wonderful young Pit Bull mix cutie-pie who loves to play fetch and who loves to snuggle. I'm happy, playful, and down-right adorable. Just look at my ears! Everyone agrees that I'm a loving dog, and that I'd make a great family pet. I get along well with bigger dogs, and I love to have fun. I'd need a yard in my new home so I'll have space to run around. I'm just nine weeks old, so I still need to learn my house training skills. I'm a smart young thing, and I'm ready and willing to learn all kinds of new things. I'll really enjoy spending time with you while I learn my new skills, and I'll quickly grow to love and trust you. I promise to be your loyal buddy and to bring joy into your life. Won't you please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? They have a great play yard here where we can have fun getting to know each other better. I'm confident you'll find that I'm the dog for you! I'll be waiting for you, so please hurry on over. Love, Peep" Kennel #10

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peep, a El Cajon Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
