Lucky's Story...
Meet Lucky: His owner is in a nursing home and has reached a point she is unable to care for this adorable sweet male 4 year old Daug. That's s dachshund and pug hybrid. Lucky is about 10-12lbs It is hopeful that his owner will recover. However Lucky can clear her 3 foot fence and will no longer be able to take him for potty walks. His foster mom says he is unable to jump her 4 foot fence. It would be ideal for Lucky to find a loving home. Lucky is a love bug. He is content to sit on your lap and look out the window. He loves other dogs, big and small. He is Calm and a slow eater, but he eats GOOD !! He will win your heart instantly !

Lucky resides in Greeneville, TN and can be transported up to New England for 125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Wattertown Dachshund/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Pug for sale in Wattertown, or seeking a Dachshund/Pug dog from a breeder in Wattertown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wattertown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wattertown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Pug breeders who help with Dachshund/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wattertown paves the way for another one to be saved.
