Abby-Prison Graduate's Story...
Abby has just returned from several months of training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. She is a proud prison graduate. She spent her time learning skills in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. Abby is now available for adoption and waiting for her forever home. Please don't make her wait too long. She needs to continue to keep practicing the skills she's learned so well.

Abby is a sweet one year old Rottie mix. She was found as a stray and brought to Friendship. She had several people put adoption applications in on her and no one showed up to adopt her. Maybe she's waiting for YOU! Stop by and check out this sweetheart.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby-Prison Graduate, a Elyria Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
