Anastasia Blue is 2 year old, Husky/Lab mix female weighing about 45-50 pounds. She has had a very sad life until now. This girl with one blue eye and one brown eye was on a chain for most of her life and left outside in a chicken coop with no roof above her for shelter from the weather. She lived on food scraps thrown to her from the people at the gas station she lived behind. For a long time a nice lady saw her day after day, penned up and it broke her heart. This lady tried and tried to get the owner to give Anastasia to her and finally she did. Now rescued, Anastasia is in a much nicer place, with a dog house and good food but still outside. She is more than ready for the luxury of an inside home with her own loving family. Anastasia Blue absolutely loves people and especially children who will run and play with her. She loves to play in the water, even if it’s just a water bowl outside. She is a quick learner and can sit when asked and walks well on a leash. Everything is so new to her now, so she needs work on her house training. Anastasia loves attention and she hugs your leg whenever she thinks you are going to leave her. She does well with other dogs when gently introduced, has a lot of energy because she has always been chained or in a kennel and we do not suggest cats for Anastasia…that’s just a Husky no-no.
