Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! My name is Aubrey! I am a shy but very loving 7 yr old, blue, 11 pound girl. I am trying to be brave, but sometimes I am a little afraid when you bend down to me from a standing position. I like to be the one that jumps up on you and gets in the chair with you. As you may have read under my brother Grayson's biography, we were surrendered to a local shelter after going through a state to state move and moving into an apartment, which we did not acclimate to. We both adjusted beautifully to being in our new foster home after just a few days of TLC!
Shortly after arriving in Rescue, I went for a visit to the vet where they discovered a yucky infection in my mouth that was making me feel really bad. They had to remove several of my teeth, but that doesn’t interfere with my eating one bit! I am on a nutritious diet and fish oil supplements since I have dry sun damaged skin down my back from spending way too much time outside in my previous life. My hair is thin but we are hoping that will improve with time.
I love to hide all the squeaky toys. I am not yet bringing them back, but we are working on it. I just like to keep all the toys with me! What’s wrong with that?!? I am also potty pad trained, so if you need to leave to go run an errand and leave me in a safely confined area, I know just where to go. I like to lay in the bed and snuggle up in the covers. I play well with both my foster sisters…well only one of them because the other one just sleeps all day because she is much older than me.
Grayson and I would like to stay together if possible, but it is not mandatory. It may actually help me spread my wings a bit if I learn to be independent of Grayson. After all, I enjoy being near you and I love to give you kisses if you will let me.
