Meet Jon Bon Jovi! He and 5 other Jersey Strong celebrity beagles have recently arrived to Happy Paws Rescue. We're working on learning more about each of them and writing their profiles. If you're interested in adopting Jon Bon Jovi, please first read about our adoption process. Then, complete an adoption application found at www.happypawsrescue.org under the *ADOPT* tab, and email it to happypawsrescue@gmail.com. Jon will be at our adoption day events on SUNDAYS from 12-4pm at the Piscataway, NJ Petco. **THIS WEEK MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, MAY 10TH FROM 12PM-4PM.** Thank you for your interest in adopting!

You may not know it, but you might have a BEAGLE to thank for your medicines! Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small, relatively easy to handle, and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have healthy beagles that they no longer need. That's when they release the beagles to us. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, socialization, and eventually, forever homes for these sweet dogs. It gives us and you a chance to give back to the beagles that have sacrificed for the advancement of science. Please email us if you're ready to be a giant hero in the eyes of a little dog!
