My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Tank! This gorgeous 18 month old boy is new to rescue and looking for an experienced GSD home to adopt him! Tank has a lot of potential to succeed and be a great dog in the right home. He is a high energy dog and super super smart . . . . . obviously he has not had much training (if any) as he has few manners, but he learns quickly and is easily redirected when distracted. He does fine with other dogs (see the picture above and the video), he just needs a proper introduction. He needs work learning how to play . . . . . he is a big boy and can be mouthy and grab toys, etc rather quickly, so only homes with older children or no children, please. And whatever Tank's past was, no kennels or metal bowls. These are things we are working on....................................... The rescue requires previous German Shepherd ownership experience for any of our dogs under the age of 2....................If you are interested in meeting Tank and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $550 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
