My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How can you not fall in love with this face? Jimbo is a 1 year old, 17 lb terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter. He had a broken knuckle when he came to us at the beginning of the year and is totally healed now. Jimbo is very smart and can figure out how to get what he wants. His attempts at snagging extra food can be amusing. He loves to cuddle and would love to sleep in bed with his person. He also loves people he knows, children and is good with all dogs. He takes a little time to warm up to strangers and prefers a calm environment. He needs to trust someone before they pick him up. However, his trust can be gained quickly. Jimbo is especially scared around men and although we are working on this issue, for the time being he would not be suitable for a home with men. We also do not recommend him for apartment living at this time because of barking. He is especially nervous around men but seems to calm down and be friendly to men who are calm and able to ignore him for a few minutes. Of course, treats help him to accept and befriend men. He knows the sit, stay, and wait commands and is super on leash skills. Perfectly housetrained. Are you the right person to show Jimbo all the love he needs?
