My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Samson . . . . this 18 month young boy is new to rescue. Samson was surrendered because his previous owners rough-housed with him as a puppy and didn't set any boundaries for him. Then, same old story, Samson got older and his behavior was no longer cute, so here he is . . . . Samson is a smart, smart boy who needs a job. And he'll most likely be happy with any kind of job whether is is just using good behavior in the house to being your favorite running partner to helping keep an eye on things around the farm. Samson has very strong herding dog instincts and because there were very few rules where he came from, he tends to be mouthy and get super excited. He will do very well in a home which will provide strong leadership. His foster home is helping him with good behavior parameters and Samson is very eager to please. With a bit of patience, Samson will be a great companion

IMPORTANT . . . . . . YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION PRIOR TO REQUESTING INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OF OUR DOGS

If you are interested in meeting Samson and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $550 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
