TINY (R)'s Story...
What a cute little boy! Tiny was turned in with his friend Missy the poodle mix on 4/22/14, the owner said they are good with kids. Tiny is up to date on shots, and will be neutered, heartworm tested and microchipped when adopted. His ID is 565092, he weighs 22 lbs., he is sharing run 860 with Missy, and we aren't sure yet how old he is. If you are interested to meet this pair, ask an animal control officer, they are a little shy at the moment and aren't on the general adoption floor, but very sweet doggies.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. Why Adoption is a Great Option

TINY (R), a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
