Launa's Story...
Meet Launa, this sweet girl was dumped over the back gate of Saint Frances late Saturday evening, in March. She was already spayed, sweet, and had a beautiful collar on. No one ever came to claim the sweet girl, so she has now been placed up for adoption. She gets along great with other dogs, and is eager to be inside. So we believe she was an inside dog prior to arriving with us. If you would like to adopt this sweet girl, please come down today. She is eager to be in a home again. Please make her dreams come true.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Launa, a Georgetown Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Georgetown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Georgetown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Georgetown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Georgetown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Georgetown paves the way for another one to be saved.
