Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE 1/31/08: Wrigley is a very smart pup. He's learned the sign for the letter "C" and that it means to go in his crate. He hardly ever whines or barks when he's in the crate, and if he does, it's only for a minute or so. He's also learned a sign for "No" and a sign for "good dog." He is learning to sit and will sit for treats. Wrigley is almost housebroken. He only occasionally piddles in the house now, if I don't take him out for a while.
He loves playing with the other dogs, and is quite a little tough guy playing with the big dogs. He really wants the cats to play with him, and although he's never hurt one of the cats, he will chase them if they run from him, and he will pester them relentlessly, so a home without cats is probably best.
He loves to play fetch, and will bring the toy back every time until he gets worn out. Wrigley is very active and energetic. He's an extremely happy boy, and full of puppy kisses and wriggles! You would never know that he has any disability!

Meet Wrigley, a very adorable 5 month old red merle pup who just happens to be deaf and possibly vision impaired but is a happy happy boy! Wrigley is from a shelter where he was picked up as a stray. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him so far:
"He is such a happy, wiggly, wrigley puppy! When Ray came home, Wrigley greeted him and I thought his tail would fly off, it was going so fast! He follows me closely, and keeps me in sight. He'll run and play with my dogs, but he'll keep checking to see where I am. He looks for my feet. I'm not sure he sees my face that well when I'm standing. His eyes are the most brilliant blue. Like Paul Newman!
He is soooooo loving! But he is FASCINATED by the cats. He follows them around and barks at them. Right now he and Tommy are lying on the floor about 3 feet away from each other...Wrigley smiling and Tommy glaring.
He's really funny, too. He'll go TEARING through the house and KILL the tuggy. He runs so fast, he wipes out constantly! Then he passes out. It's better than TV."
This handsome pup is fostered in the Lakeland area. 1/15/08
