My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caramel and her sister Tessa are beautiful pups that were at risk in a local shelter because they were so fearful in their cage they could not be shown for adoption. They are gradually learning to trust.
The pups were so tense they had to be carried to the rescue car, but once they were in the back settled down nicely. Upon meeting their foster family, they melted when offered bites of a hamburger and were soon following foster dad around the yard like a scene from The Pied Piper. That afternoon, they basked in the attention of a small party of young girls who were visiting the family daughter.

Caramel and Tessa are comfortable around other dogs; they have been playful with the other foster dogs in the home. At their first adoption event, Caramel was the more outgoing to humans, initiating contact and generally endearing herself to everyone. She was also more inclined than Tessa to explore.

The pups are about 8 months old and around 25 lbs at this time. Caramel outweighs Tessa by about 2 lbs. They are probably still growing. We will have further information on them soon.
