Emily's Story...
Hi my name is Emily. I was born on March 2, 2014 in my foster mom's home. My mommy is a tiger. I have 3 siblings. I came from a litter of 4. I am energetic, playful. I am a little shy at first but warm up quickly. Don't let me being a little shy scare you. I am just little and afraid of all those big things in the world that I haven't come to know and understand. Love to cuddle but also love my independent time to play. I am used to dogs, all sizes, people and other cats. I love to play with my siblings and having someone to play with is always better. Please think about adopting me and one of my siblings. Four Paws 2 rescue will give a discount when adopting 2 at the same time. Thank you for considering me for adoption and Four Paws 2 Rescue.

All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested (FeLeuk) and are also tested for feline immuno virus (FIV). Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. All cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered prior adoption.

In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption along with the adoption fee and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily, a Battle Creek Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
