Skeeter's Story...
"Hi, everybody! My name is SKEETER, and I'm a friendly and fun-loving Schnauzer mix who's ready to light up your life! I'm just seven months old, and everyone tells me that I'm irresistible. I'm full of energy, so I love to run around the play yard and chase after balls. I live to amuse and entertain. I get along nicely with other dogs, and I'd be a loving and playful family pet. I bet that when you come to visit me, I'll put a smile on your face. I'll be super happy getting to know you, too. I know how to sit on command, and I'll probably need to work on my house training skills when I get to my new home. Please come visit me at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. We can hang out together in the great play yard that they have here, then maybe you'll want to take me home and love me forever. I've been dreaming of a new forever home, so I hope you'll make my dreams come true. Love, Skeeter" Kennel #61

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skeeter, a El Cajon Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
