My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tanner is an energetic 4 year old Yellow Lab that was surrendered to Friendship because there were too many pets in his family. He's a good boy that knows some commands. Tanner is house trained and has manners in the house. He likes kids, dogs and tolerates cats. Tanner has a tendency to bolt through open doors when he feels like it. He would love a tall fenced in yard with maybe some kids or another dog to play with.

On May 01, 2014, Tanner was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Tanner is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

If you put in an adoption application on a prison dog and find another dog before they return, please inform Friendship.
