My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet happy go lucky Max! He's a super energetic 3 year old Chow/Shar Pei mix. Max was surrendered because as he grew he became too strong for his female owner. Max lived with a toddler and played nice but got a little too excited at times. He is curious about other dogs and has not been around any cats. Max has a wonderful disposition and personality and with some guidance and an experienced handler will be a great pal to have around.

On May 22, 2014, Max was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. Max is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

If you put in an adoption application on a prison dog and find another dog before they return, please inform Friendship.
