Dixie: 2 yr old, black & tan, spayed female, docked tail & natural ears, 10" 9lbs., shots up-to-date, micro chipped, rescued from shelter.
"Hi I'm Dixie. When I first came into rescue I was pregnant, single and scared. I had 5 adorable pups: Charlie, Snoopy, Olaf, Lucy and my smallest was Linus. I cared for them all for 3 months and then my job was done. They all found loving homes within 48 hours of being available for adoption- we had a good agent.
For the last month I have focused on getting my body back. I am spayed, down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 8 lbs and am in great health with all of my shots current.
Now that the kids are gone and I spent the last month taking "me" time I'm ready to get back out there and find my forever home. Because I'm a catch.
My previous home got in over their heads thinking that breeding dogs would be "fun". When I got pregnant they decided it was much more work than they thought. They turned me into the shelter. Very swanky I might add-you get assigned a foster home AND an agent that works with interested adoptees to make sure I'm going to a fabulous place.
Now for my sales pitch: I'm house trained, walk on a leash, and play well with others ( both dogs and humans). I am looking for a family that will play with me- I love to run about with my toys. I do enjoy walks each day. I also love kisses and cuddling. At night I will not steal your sheets in bed- I'm crate trained. I love car rides too and sometimes go to work with my mom. It's great!

IMPS is a non-profit rescue organization that does not have a viewing facility to which you can come and meet the dogs available for adoption. All of our MinPins are in loving homes in foster care. Arrangements can be made with the foster parent; however, it is a requirements that the Adoption Application be completed and approved first.
