My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof… my name is Odie, and I’m a medium sized (25 lbs), three year old male dog. I live in Tennessee at the moment but can be adopted anywhere on the east coast or in the Northeast. My foster family tells me that I am smart, handsome, sweet-tempered and loving – can you see me blush yet? I have short, sleek, brindle fur on a muscular body. I’m not sure who my mom and dad were so I just say I’m a Heinz 57 but my rescuers think I may be a boxer/terrier mix. I can say with utmost certainly that I would enjoy a family to give lots of love and loads of kisses to, and who would let me have my own bed to snuggle into. I am happy being an only dog or sharing with another pet. I like adults, older children and pretty much ignore cats. Unfortunately, due to my past life as a bait dog, I have been in a few fights but I’m not a fighter and get along with people and other dogs. I am housebroken, but as I am currently living in kennels, I might need a little reminding. I don’t chew or tear things up and am not much of a barker. I am neutered, up to date on shots, and heart worm negative and so ready to be a loving member of my forever family. Are you that family?
