Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Griswold, a happy, affectionate dog looking for a forever home. His first family turned him into the shelter when they no longer had time for him. Such a shame, because this is one wonderful dog! The shelter staff was told that Griswold was a mix of Australian shepherd and Great Pyrenees. Our vet thought he looked more like a rough coat collie mix but regardless, he has beautiful markings and a very soft coat. He can be kind of goofy sometimes but is basically a very sweet and gentle boy. He does love to play with other dogs but the jury is still out on cats. He will walk by them but may give chase should they decide to run. Griswold is about 2 years old and has excellent house manners. He is crate trained and house broken. He walks very well on leash and listens very intently to direction. He loves his human friends and is a very confident dog. He enjoys taking walks and exploring. He is smart and observant and will be a wonderful companion and family dog. Griswold weighs 70 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Griswold please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form call us at 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit with him at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only and generally set the appointments for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included.
