Chewy is an adorable retriever mix looking for a home. He is young and energetic. Chewy loves to play and fetch and chase balls and toss toys. Chewy would also like you to know that he will pretty much do anything for a treat. So if you have any new tricks you would like to teach him he will be more than willing to try! He is a smart fellow and very eager to please. Chewy is calm in the house and quiet in his crate. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He walks great on leash and is a happy dog. You will have lots of good times walking him around the neighborhood. He loves to meet new people and make new friends. Chewy enjoys playing with other dogs but does not like cats. He would love to have some older kids to play with. He sure wouldn’t mean to hurt anyone but may knock a toddler down if out playing in the yard. We would love to introduce you and your family to Chewy to see if he would be a good fit. Some family is going to be very lucky to have him! We have an adoption center in downtown Mocksville and are there by appointment only. The adoption center has a large playroom where you, Chewy, the kids and any other dogs (if you have any) can get acquainted. Chewy is almost a year old and weighs 36 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
