Marmalade's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Marmalade's Story...
Marmalade a cute orange tiger and her sister Zoey (diluted torti) were found in a basement of old house where food and attention were very sparing provided. Thanks to the attention provided by a foster mom the sisters are about ready to be adopted as they will be getting their second distemper soon.

Marmalade is doing very well in her foster home interacting with the family and other cats but she will need a little extra time adjusting to her new home. Zoey is a little behind her but is doing surprisingly well.

If you would like to give these girls a chance either together for a special adoption fee of $125 or $75 each, please call 508-994-0220 or e-mail cricket13@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marmalade, a Acushnet Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Acushnet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Acushnet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Acushnet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Acushnet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Acushnet paves the way for another one to be saved.
