Here's what the humans have to say about me:
9/4/14 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $500
Fostered in Louisiana
Age: 1.5 years
Weight: 7 lbs.
5/20/14 - Polo has just about the best attitude and personality of all the YHR pups. He is happy all the time, loving all the time, and doesn’t seem to ever not appreciate life. From the time he wakes up in the morning til the minute he goes to sleep at night, Polo is 100% of whatever he is doing. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES playing with toys. He likes for you to throw them for him, but has NO problem playing with them by himself for long periods of time. True to the yorkie personality, he will follow you everywhere, yes, even the bathroom and loved to be petted at that time too. He is such a sweetheart that looks at his foster mom as if she hung the moon. And he is equally as loving of his foster dad. When it is time for bed, he settles down quit quickly, curls up.... pretty much on you, and goes sound asleep. He also loves for you to hug up to him.
He will need a big back yard to run around and play in and would love another playful four-legger. Understand that he is still puppy and has that energy accordingly, but will bring it down a notch whenever you would like for him to sit in your lap and get petted and loved on. He is in the mouthy stage with fingers right now, but is easily diverted when you hand him a toy to play with instead. He is very smart and learned to sit for a treat in just one day.
He will be a great playmate for another dog since he is so submissive and playful. He just wants to be friends with everyone.
5/6/14 - What goes tick, tick, woof, woof? A watch dog. What do they call pastors in germany? German shepherds. Where should you never take a dog? A flea market. Knock knock! Who’s there? Accordian. Accordian who? Accordian to my foster mom, I do not have a family of my own.
Hi, my name is Polo and this is my third home in 1.5 short years. I was a little too active for my last family since I didn’t have another furbaby to play with. I was just bored. And when my human mom went back to work, I was in the crate a lot which made me stir crazy. I’m in a foster home now with dogs and cats and love all the activity. Even though I love playing with 4 leggers, I also love getting and giving attention from my humans. I love to snuggle. Haven’t really played with toys too much, but I have a feeling I will learn to like them. I will definitely need a fenced in yard to run out my puppy energy.
Right now, foster mom is working on my spastic energy and trying to teach me that I don’t have to get every emotion out at once. Guess I’ve been bounced around too much and really haven’t had a stable situation to understand that I have to mind my manners even though I’m young. I’m trying, but I’m just such an over exuberant, happy boy. I love that new song Happy by Pharrell Williams, because it’s all about me. ‘smile’
If you enjoyed my sample comedy act above, then fill out an application to adopt me, because there is plenty more where that came from.
