Hello! My name is Betsy and I am 14 years old. I came into the world on September 4 2001 and I can live to be about 35-40 years old or more, so I am just a young thing with lots of life left. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat. I will try any food you give me although I do not like it all. My foster mom introduced me to chop and it’s very yummy! She also let me find out about fruits, nuts, and some other great stuff that ekkies like me need in our diet – we do have a specialized diet, ya know? I like to take showers and will spread my wings. I am obviously very confident in my looks because as you can see, I am a nudist – but I hope to find a family that will love me regardless because my feathers will probably not grow back due to the damage to my feather follicles. However, I am VERY sweet and I love to be loved on! I am learning how to play with toys and I especially like to chew on thin wood. Do you like my blue eye shadow? I think it gives that extra flare to my individual look! I can also talk, I like to say “I’ve got to go to work” and “give me sugar”, after I say that, I like to make kissie sounds. Will you adopt me and continue exploring new food and toys with me? And then maybe I can give you kissies? I can’t wait to meet you

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
