My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet 2 yr old arrived to our foster home on April 26th, weighing in at 8 pounds. This little girl sat quietly in my lap the whole way home. She looked up at me to check me out and licked my hands softly. Not a peep, not a tremble, calm as can be. Once home, she walked very well on her leash and did her business outside. She was so excited to check out the new neighborhood and happy to see neighbors walking about greeting them with a wagging tail. She shows no signs of aggression, lets me pick up each paw, pull her food bowl from her while she eats, place my hand on her back while she is eating. She loves to be with her human and is a little cuddle bug. She is very interested and playful with my small dog gently playing with her as she is 3 pounds smaller. She is happy to play with her toys. She shows no signs of nervousness and fit into her surroundings immediately. She is quite a sweetie and a love!

UPDATE: This morning we went for a 2 mile walk with my dog. Buttercup walked better on the leash than my dog! It is as if she has been taught to heal. Every person and dog she came to she loved, greeted, and was very gentle with. We have had no accidents in the house. She was a bit timid of the steps, but has gotten over that nicely. Today Buttercup went to the groomer. The groomer said she was an Amazingly Sweet dog who loved everyone human and dog there! She was a bit frightened by the blow dryer, so they just took their time with her and she was fine. The groomer said she was perfect! We then picked up my friend to go for a walk and take pictures. On the way, she fell asleep in my friends arms. She is not afraid of new people at all, male or female. She plays with my dog and wants to play with every dog she meets on our walks no matter the size. She is very interested in my cat, does not chase her, just wants to get to know her. The cat takes things very much on her own however so there has not been any real interaction between the two yet. Every person that meets her says they want her and that she won't last long on the site!

UPDATE: Our work schedules were conflicting today and I had to leave Buttercup home for longer than I would have liked. I kept her in a room, a 12 x 12 tiled room, with her kennel left open, 2 wee-pads, and her toys and her bowl of water. I had everything at the ready so if I came home and there was a mess, I could take her out for a walk, clean everything up, and get on with our evening. Well, let me tell you, not a drop of anything, no mess, no sign of destruction - just a happy little girl wagging her tail and so happy to see me and give me kisses as we got ready to go out for our walk! She is one Sweet Good Girl! Someone is going to be a Very Lucky Owner!
