My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRANDI is a 14 month old yellow spayed female who weighs 83 pounds. She's a BIG girl who is a friendly energetic pup who loves to play and get attention. She'll make a wonderful addition to a family that is looking for an young energetic Lab as an addition to their family as long as they understand she need training, love and attention. She is good with other dogs; Knows sit and come. She is house and crate trained. Has run of house when owner is home crated when she goes out and at night. Asked her why she was crated at night, she told she didn’t have reason just always had. Brandi would not do well in an apartment/condo or city environment, she needs a yard to run and play in with a very active family. She's approved for kids aged 10 and up.

Update (6/28): Brandi has settled in and is beginning to chill. She loves to romp and play with the resident dogs. She also enjoys sitting on her foster's lap and being petted. She adores toys and will play all day if you let her. She is house trained and crate trained, and will whine when she needs to go out. She is a bit of a counter surfer so you have to be careful about leaving toys or treats within her reach. She is a big, sweet girl who loves to play.

Update (6/19): Brandi sleeps in or out of the kennel, but has been letting her foster sleep in after the morning potty trip. She is cuddling and giving lots of kisses. She gets along so well with the resident dog, especially the Golden; the two of them wrestle and play together, chase each other around, and play tug with toys. She will still bring toys for her people to throw. She is a great walker and will not pull at all. She likes to nap around the house, play by herself or with the other dogs, and come over for pets and kisses. She is learning "leave it” and “wait”, and she has started some agility stuff, which she really seems to like. Brandi is a really sweet girl.

Update (4/28): Brandi is doing great, adjusting very well to her new home and foster family. She is a high energy girl, still very much a puppy, playing constantly with the ball, a chew toy or any stuff animal she finds around. She likes to retrieve and is good at it.. She loves to go on walks, loves to retrieve tennis balls and loves to eat....a bit of a counter surfer at times. Very obedient and extremely gentle with kids and other dogs. She would be a wonderful companion for a family that enjoys a high energy dog and who has the time and energy to keep her busy and active.

Update (4/24): Brandi is adjusting well to the new routine. She loves to play fetch, going on walks and sleeping at my feet. Very gentle with my children and my dog (extremely patient with him particularly). She will be a wonderful companion!!
