My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Andy! He was saved from being gassed at a kill shelter, but he is safe from harm now. (To learn more about the horrible situation he was saved from see link http://www.stopgassingtexaspets.com/elcampo.htm). However, someone needs to tell Andy that he is safe now - he is shy, timid and scared of everything...ceiling fans, the television etc. He may never have even seen the inside of a home before... has excellent recovery though so with a but more time in a loving foster home he should be just fine. He is playing with the dogs already and only been in our rescue since April 25.

Andy is his name since we immediately thought of little orphan Annie, of course this would have to be her brother : 0 and the word Mandy means "worthy of being loved" so we decided on a masculine name of Andy for this little guy.

He is very small for a shepherd mix but has the colorings of a GSD but not the size. So, if you have always wanted to cuddle with a shepherd Andy might be your little man : ) He loves to be around people, he feels safe there. He might be scared of new people at first but he warms up quickly when he finds you will pet him, which he can not get enough of :)

He is working on house and crate training since those are foreign concepts to him, but he doesn't seem to have trouble with leash walking- he LOVES to go on walks and is pretty good at it too!

He will be a wonderful family pet once he gets used to being loved and cared for in a real home. Won't you apply for this sweet pup who is so deserving of a second chance at a good life!
