Meet April! She's the prettiest little black and white Jack Russell girl that you will ever meet. April is between one and two years old and is a bit of a dainty thing, weighing in at just 12 pounds of soft white cuddliness. It's hard to believe that April was a stray in a Nashville neighborhood and wound up at a local vet's office. They took her in and cared for her, but when no one came to claim this lovely dog, and after two weeks they were going to turn her over to animal control. Well, there was no way Critter Cavalry could let this happen to such a refined little Southern belle, so we stepped in and found her a foster family to stay with while she waits for her forever home. She is getting along fairly well with the other dogs at her foster family, however she did quickly form a close bond with her new humans and might enjoy being an only dog at her forever home. She will sit on your lap and snuggle under the blanket with you while you watch a movie or read a book, and she walks like a proper little princess on her leash with her lovely pink harness. April is taking to house training very well and knows what she is supposed to do when you take her outside. She is sleeping in a crate at night, although she would probably be happier being with her people. Since she is so devoted to her people, she may not be a good fit in a family where the humans are gone for a good part of the day. If you are looking for a full-time, four-legged companion, sweet April may be the little dog for you. April is spayed and current on all of her shots. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
