My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"SHAUN" is a neutered, very pretty, red Miniature Poodle that is NOT a rescued Poodle, but a "rehome".

Shaun comes to us from a family moving and can not take their beloved Poodle with them. Thank you, Karin.

Shaun is 6 years old (08/29/2007) and was adopted when he was a puppy. He is a nice sized Miniature who measures 14" tall from the floor to his shoulders and weighs a healthy 15 pounds.

Shaun is gentle boy who is a bit shy (reserved) at first, but has become interested in everyone and everything. He will follow us around the house everywhere we go, has that soft, loving attitude and will quickly attach to you becoming your best friend.

He also loves to run and play with toys and all our other Poodles, especially with JoJo. The two have become best of friend. He also enjoys going for walks. Do you need a walking companion?

Shaun has been the only Poodle all his life with a lady, so there was a question about his getting along with men. What a surprise as he just loves my husband, Mike!

Shaun will bark when someone comes to our door, but is quiet when I tell him "No".

You will need to accept him into your bed at night as he has moved into bed with us. Can you tell we just love this boy?

Shaun's tested positive for Anaplasma which is a disease transmitted by a tick bite that has becoming more common here in Minnesota. However, after this brutal winter, let's hope these ticks have not survived!

Anaplasma is a treatable and curable issue. Shaun HAS BEEN TREATED with Doxycycline for the Anaplasma. HE WILL BE JUST FINE!

Shaun also has what is called "dry eye". He is on a once-daily routine of an easy to obtain eye drops. No big deal.

Shaun's $300.00 adoption fee will include all of his past and present Vet records, his recent teeth cleaning, Home Again micro chip and registration. His shots are up to date, worming, a 6 month supply of Heartgard, a new wire crate, new blanket, new bed, a winter coat, collar, leash and lots of information to help start your adoption on the right paw forward are also included.

Please NO LARGE DOGS or small children. Let me know if you would like more information about Shaun or his "Application For Adoption".
