Greetings from Rusty! As you can see in my photo, I’m quite the handsome dude! At eighteen months, they tell me I’m a little underweight at 46 pounds, but I’m sure a few extra snacks would fix that up in a hurry. I’m a little lean, but certainly far from mean. When I was waiting at the vet, three people asked if I was available, so I’m hoping my sweet disposition and suave demeanor will get me snapped up quickly. It seems likely I could get along with all sorts of people. I came from a shelter in Perry County, where I was a stray, so I’m absolutely available to be your very own canine companion. I really love to ride in a car, so how about taking me for a ride in yours? During my medical checkup the aGB Vet discovered that I am heartworm positive. AGB says that the doctors will give me medicine to kill off those nasty worms and then I will be ready to start my new life with you. If you find me as appealing as those other people did, you can head for the home I’d love to share with you.
