Name: Rocky
Color: Grey Tabby
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 9 months
Rocky and Bullwinkle are brothers that would really like to find a home together. They are available for adoption at Whatcom Humane Society.
Big fan of: Rocky would love to have a cat tower in his new home as he likes to find a good perch to hang out on. He is a talkative cat who loves attention and is very outgoing. Bullwinkle is a shy, gentle boy who would love a nice quiet place to curl up. It doesn't take him long to get comfortable with new people and then he asks to have his cheeks rubbed.
Dream Home: Their past home had a dog so a cat-savvy dog would be just fine as long as it knows not to chase them. There was a child in their previous home, so they would be happy to have children in their new home as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bullwinkle, a Bellingham Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
