SARGE's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

SARGE's Story...
Sarge and his brother Shadow are 5 month old male Chiweenies (Sarge in the pink and Shadow) and they need new homes. The current owner has developed allergies and has tried for 3 months to take medications for her allergies but stays sick with sinus and the doctor has said these 2 are the reasons. The dogs have had their first shots and second boosters and scheduled for rabies next week. They are brothers, never been apart, we would love to see them stay together. They are pee pad trained and go when she takes them out. She said they are great with her children and her 8 yr. old twins have Ausberger syndrome and are great with them. Individually their adoption fee would be $325 each, or $600 for the pair. They go so nicely together, they would be great pets for a family looking for the perfect two.

If you would like further information on adopting these two brothers, please email Dawn at Blackdogsrescue@icloud.com. I can email you an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SARGE, a LEXINGTON Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in LEXINGTON, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in LEXINGTON.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LEXINGTON already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LEXINGTON breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LEXINGTON paves the way for another one to be saved.
