Hello everyone, my name is Téa. I can be a little bit shy at first, but if you give me a chance, you will see that I am a happy girl who is full of personality. My friends at Mayday always tell me that I am a sweet girl and that my big, brown eyes and wiggle-butt-tail-wag make it hard for anyone to resist my charms. If you love affectionate dogs that are full of kisses and have brief spurts of energy, I’m your girl! I love to sunbathe and chase lizards too.

I came to Mayday after I was found in the street with a terrible injury to one of my front legs, which required amputation. However, with the love and care of the people at Mayday, my wounds have healed, my confidence is great, and this tri-pawed girl can play and love like any dog with four legs. In fact, you would think I was born with three legs! I will admit that I can be a little bit bossy with other dogs and I love to be the center of attention, so I would need to be the only dog in your home.

However, my big, brown eyes and wiggle-butt-tail-wag will never let you down!

About Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy

About Our Rescue Group...

Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy is an established, entirely volunteer run, 501c3 nonprofit. We focus on dogs with extreme medical, behavioral and special needs.  We are devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating and securing placement for pit bull and pit bull mixes into responsible, permanent and loving homes. We partner with national animal welfare organizations to assist dogs from dog fighting, hoarding and other crisis/emergency situations.

We strive to educate the public about the pit bull breed in order to relieve suffering and prevent cruelty.

We advocate responsible pit bull ownership and educate the public about breed specific legislation.

Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy is made up of a small group of volunteers based in Phoenix, Arizona, who are dedicated to improving the lives of pit bulls and re-establishing the breed as a beloved family pet.

We work directly with local Animal Care and Control shelters to rescue pit bulls from euthanasia with the goal of rehabilitation and permanent placement.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are foster home based and do not have a primary shelter location. We believe the dogs do best when living in a home environment as members of a family.
Please email us to schedule a meeting.
