I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi my name is Nysa and I am a 4 year old Bullldog mix, (and only I know for sure what I am mixed with) who is looking for my forever home. Nysa (nee-sa) means new beginning and that is what I am looking for with my new family.
My new life began with my foster mom and foster siblings/children ages 9,6,and 4. You see I came in as a stray and was badly beaten, full of open wounds, scared and starving at the Clay County Animal shelter. My previous family used me as a breading dog while I lived outside in the mud trying to live off of whatever scraps I could get. One day I got away and I just knew no matter what I couldn't go back to my family who really didn't want me and left me outside, isolated from my pack family. When the the Clay County officers found me they took me to the shelter and even though it wasn't the best place to be but they did feed me fixed me up and gave me a place to sleep. At least it was better then where I came from. Then my foster family stopped by to get a quick peek at the dogs at the shelter when she(my foster mom) saw me. I didn't bother to look up as for weeks people came by to look at the other dogs at the shelter, but not me. It made me very sad that I was being overlooked as I really am a sweet and loving girl. Then all of a sudden I hear her asking about me. The next thing I knew she took me home and now she is caring for me at her house. My foster family calls me beautiful, and smart and says I have an old sweet soul. They are totally right :) That's how I got my new name Nysa.
I am house trained, kennel trained and understand the commands go pee pee, sit and no mam. I love to give kisses, have my rear scratched, and just to be loved on. I am good with children, and play well with the other dog in my foster family, a handsome black German Shepherd. My foster mom says I now have a chance at a new life. Will you be that new beginning that I so deserve? Well what are you waiting for? Please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot them an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet yours truly, the dog that so deserves a new beginning and whose personality is as sweet as apple pie. I look forward to meeting you so that I can steel your heart away where you can not help but want to take me home fur-ever. Love and kisses - Nysa
