Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey there, I'm Lyla! I'm a big cuddly girl who is looking for a loving and patient family to call my own. You see, I was rescued along with 2 other adults and 5 puppies (some were mine- and I wasn't even a year old yet!) from a bad situation where I didn't get much love. I've been in foster care with IWARS for almost 5 months now and my foster parents have been introducing me to a lot of new things- it's been a pretty scary time but I've learned so much and am starting to realize this indoor dog thing has it's perks! I do love people though- even those little ones, I think they're called "children."
I just found out that dog toys are super fun- I like to play tug of war and watch your toes because I've got a thing for socks! I'm a pretty low key girl though- I like to play for a while then relax with a nap and a tummy rub.
I just recently got diagnosed with hypothyroidism... I started taking my medication over a two weeks ago and I am already a completely different girl! I finally like to play with the other dogs in my foster home, and my coat is now shiny and soft! I am no longer a shy, timid girl!!! I need a new family who's willing to take things slow with me and I promise I'll make them a great companion!
If you're interested in taking me home and letting me be a big part of your family- I will promise to make you smile everyday!! Please fill out an adoption application, I just want to find my fur-ever home!
