Dawn's Story...
HI HI!! My name is Dawn - I think I was named that because I'm as beautiful as the sun coming up at the break of dawn. Maybe?

Anyways - I am a 10 month old and 10lb Fox terrier mix. Aren't I adorable? One could say "foxy" even! Look I even have a cool tail like they do....although mine is more curly and less fluffy. I'm quite outgoing, and really enjoy playing. I like to make the most out of my day, so why not play? If you've got a yard I can run around with you in and play with toys, that would be the greatest life! I'm not super high energy though, just a nice medium playful energy.

So if I sound like the girlie for you, please email calicanrescue@gmail.com and ask the people at CaliCan Rescue to phone you to start an application. You won't regret it! My adoption fees are $280 and covers my spay, all vaccines, microchipping, deworming, heart worm testing, vet visits, and transportation to Canada!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawn, a Edmonton Fox Terrier (Toy)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Dachshund for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Toy)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Toy)/Dachshund breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Toy)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
