My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oliver! Oliver is a loving, healthy 2 year old terrier mix. He has a gorgeous long “mane” of hair and cute markings. He is a energetic little boy, with remarkable ability to run fast, turn sharp and jump high. He needs to be exercised regularly and would make a fabulous agility dog. He has a passion for squeaky toys and loves to play catch. Oliver enjoys chew toys as well. He has begun obedience training and has done very well – he is exceptionally smart and eager to please. Oliver is a very sturdy and strong dog and weighs approx. 22 lbs. He is affectionate and likes praise but is not needy or clingy. He is crate trained and will sleep in his crate if you wish. He would do best in a home without cats, but gets along well with other dogs. He will need an owner who will give him guidance, love and exercise.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
