Earl's Story...
Earl - 3 year old male Catahoula mix. Earl rescued from a crowded L.A. County shelter. He is a happy, playful, affectionate boy who likes walks, car rides and squeaky toys (in which he takes a surgical interest), but his real love is people of every age, size, race and gender. He enjoys any activity that involves human interaction, the more the better. Earl has fine leash and car manners, and is housebroken and crate- and doggy-door trained. He’s great on basic obedience, and will do best with an “alpha” adopter who has the experience, time and temperament to maintain this training. He has been problem-free around other dogs, but because of his probable breed mix (he’s obviously part Pit) we’re looking for a home where he will be the only pet. Earl is essentially full-grown at approximately 55 pounds. For more info about Earl please email emread@verizon.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Earl, a Redondo Beach Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Redondo Beach, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Redondo Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redondo Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redondo Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redondo Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
