This is Hutch. He is about 6 months old. Isn't he a cutie? I just love those ears. He loves to nuzzle for head rubs. He is a cuddle bug. He likes squeaky toys and balls. He will give you puppy dog eyes to show you he wants to please you. He will stares outside kennel for human contact. Hutch loves to rolls in the grass. He will engage other dogs to play. Hutch can be a little shy but he is a sweetheart. He was brought in a stray so not much is known about him. All we know is that he needs a good home who will give him love.
If you would like to adopt Hutch, please contact Corrie at doubledogcorrie@yahoo.com
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
