Ivan's Story...
If you are looking to adopt a sweet and loyal companion, ensconced on your lap - Ivan is your boy.
Please contact Itty Bitty Kitty NY at 1-917-889-5896.

Ivan is an one year old, black and white boy. He has been vetted, and is very friendly with adult humans.
He was adopted to a family, but the family child pulled Ivan's tail, and Ivan became very fearful of children. Also he would do best as the only cat -- in household without other cats and dogs.

He was rescued as a five week old kitten with his siblings, and is great and goofy boy. He has a winning personality and a playful manner.

Ivan is fixed, tested and vaccinated.
To off-set the food and medical costs, an adoption fee is requested, and a hard cat carrier is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivan, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
