My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

McCoy is an extremely handsome, friendly, social and energetic Lab/Airedale mix looking for a loving home. Poor McCoy was found as a stray after being hit by a car. He had a badly injured front leg that ended up having to be amputated. McCoy has not let this sow him down one bit! This guy gets around just fine with three legs and is still an active and playful guy. He'd actually make a really great jogging partner as he just loves to run! McCoy also does very well with other animals. He even lets the shelter kitties share his bed with him. McCoy is crate trained as well, but since we've only observed him in a kennel setting, we are unsure if he's housebroken. We do need potential adopters to be willing to possibly take on this task. He is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from a kill-shelter in southern IL. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. If interest is shown in him, McCoy can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted, and prepared for adoption. If seriously interested in possibly adopting this gorgeous boy, please contact us ASAP!
• McCoy’s adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like McCoy from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
