Poor, sweet April was dumped out on the river near a ship yard in TN to have her babies. She is about a year and a half old and weighs about 65 lbs. She is the sweetest girl ever! She is housetrained and has been a wonderful mommy. She had 12, yes TWELVE beautiful puppies! 10, yes TEN boys and two girls. Half of her puppies have been adopted and the other six will go to their new home shortly so it is April's turn to get the love! April is sweet and loving but she has a lot of energy and needs an active home or a home with a big fenced yard for her to go out, run around and squrrel watch. She also doesn't want to be left home alone all day. She is spayed, UTD on all shots and is HW tested negative.
If you would like to fill out an application to make April your new family member, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com.

About One More Last Chance Rescue - ME Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all volunteer rescue group that tries to give as many pets as possible a chance at a good life when all of their other doors have been closed. We pull dogs from high kill shelters in the South when they are scheduled for euthanization and foster them in TN while trying to find them great, forever homes in New England. Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not always possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our Tennessee dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things don't work out. We try hard to get good matches in our homes so that everyone has a happy life together!
We are also staunch advocates of SPAY AND NEUTER. The only way to stop the millions of lives needlessly lost every year is to SPAY and NEUTER! We have been doing this for 9 years with little or no donations, so please , if you can donate please do so. We have saved thousands of dogs since the start of our mission and want to continue to do so as long as finances permit.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $450 and it includes all age appropriate vetting, health certificate and transport. Please contact us for an application. Our requirements are based on the individual dog, but the most important requirement is a loving FOREVER home for our special pets.
