Please consider Penelope! Penelope is a 2.5 / 3 year old, female, Greyhound/Yellow Lab Mix who is exceptionally people oriented, loving, very quiet and well behaved. She was kept in a crate many hours a day for the last several months, and is so grateful for any show of affection/attention. Penelope is wonderful on or off leash, and will stay right by your side. She is initially frightened of other dogs, but warms up quickly, and has been raised with cats. At 65 LBS, Penelope thinks she is a lap dog, and will lay at your feet (or preferable on the couch, on or beside you!) – for hours quite contentedly. Penelope would do well with children 10 and older (due to her larger size). She would make an excellent choice for a retired person/couple who need a walking companion, and want a calm, quiet dog , who will fit right into any situation. Penelope is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on shots and worming. $150.00 to the right home.
