This is a great dog! He is such a sweetheart too. Look at those beautiful eyes!! He will follow you around, rub on your to get your attention and nuzzle your hand to get a head scratch. He is a cuddle bug too! When he wags his tail his whole body move back and forth. When you scratch, pet or rub he will try and talk to you. he will wail, snort or moans in the most heart warming of ways! The shelter volunteer said Bentley is a big wonderful and well behaved dog. He is just a love and all he wants to do is bury his lovely head in her arms and stay there. He know his basic commands and will sit before you even get the t out. He is always looking to his humans to see what he can do to please them. It takes very little to make this boy happy. He like to roll around in the grass. Bentley would fit into almost any family situation. Can you give him the home he so deserves? Fill out an adoption application.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
