Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gus, a handsome purebred Mini-Schnauzer that is only 3 years old and weighs 11.7 pounds. This handsome boy was found in a high kill shelter, very matted and so dirty that you almost didn't want to touch him. You could not even tell what breed he was because of the horrible condition of his long unkempt fur. He smelled awful from not having had a bath in years it appeared. We were amazed when we saw him fully bathed and groomed to be exactly what he was meant to be...a beautiful Schnauzer! Don't let that grumpy look on his face fool you because Gus is a very happy boy. He gets along great with other dogs and loves kids. He's been around a cat several times and hasn't tried to chase him. It has been said that Gus wasn't on good terms with chickens though. He is a very fast runner so a fenced in yard would be best for him. As far as being affectionate, Gus loves to be cuddled and loves to held. He is currently working on house training and he loves his crate too, along with his blanket. Gus LOVES to go for walks on his leash and happily trots along for as long as you want. Now he just needs a forever home where he will be cherished and adored. If you are looking for a small, mature companion, Gus is the boy for you. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
