Ginger's Story...
Ginger looks older that she is. She is only 6-7 years of age. She was being used as a breeder dog and made to have puppies every time she came into heat. When she became unusefull with a double hernia, she was dumped on the side of the road. She is friendly, fun loving. full of energy and just adorable. It is a wonder she survived every thing she has gone through. Her hernias are take care of, she is spayed, current on all shots, heart worm negative and on prevention and micro chipped. She just wants a home with a lap.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Lubbock Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Lubbock, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Lubbock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lubbock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lubbock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lubbock paves the way for another one to be saved.
