Tiki's Story...
Sweet Tiki, was in the Coachella shelter, without understanding why. For some reason her family didn't come looking for her. But we will give her some tlc and she will blossom and hop right into your lap! Just 6 months old, she has her life in front of her, and will be a great addition to your family.
She has the shorter legs of a wire haired doxie but not stocky, she is slender and weighs aabout 15 lbs.
She plays with all her foster friends and kisses mom endlessly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiki, a Simi Valley Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
