Mandy's Story...
Name: Mandy
Color: Cream/Grey Tabby
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair/Siamese Cat
Gender: Female
Age: 6 Years 6 Months
Mandy is a bashful sweetheart looking for a loving lap to call her own. Mandy is a total love but is startled by loud noises and fast movements.
Big fan of: Being a lap cat.
Dream Home: She would love a quieter home with someone who would enjoy having this pretty girl curled up in your lap. Mandy has lived with children before and wouldn't mind doing so again, though she would prefer that they be older, mature children who won't chase after her and overwhelm her. Mandy would prefer to be the only cat in her new home, but she could potentially tolerate a mellow adult male who will lounge around and not try to play. Dogs would be too much for this timid soul though.
Special Features: Since Mandy is over 5 years old, she qualifies for our Young At Heart adoption special! If you are over 55, please ask us about our Young At Heart adoption special!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mandy, a Bellingham Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
