Truly's Story...
Hi, I’m Truly! I got my name because I am TRULY the best dog, ever! I am looking for my FORever home. If I were to pick the perfect FORever home, it would be a home that loves me and gives me neck scratches and gives me bones to chew on. That’s it! Oh, and walks are fun things; can we go for walks together please? I know that bones are the only thing I should chew on, so I will leave your furniture and shoes alone. I love love love to be loved on, and I will come and sit right at your feet for scratches. I also have perfect house manners: I sleep quietly at the foot of the bed at night, I sit for my food, I sit quietly in the car, I know to go outside to potty, and to sleep quietly in my crate while my foster mom is gone.

My foster mom says my fur is silky soft and that I have the most beautiful sweet eyes. I’m about 45-50 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm and flea preventative, and microchipped.

I currently share my home with doggie brothers and sisters and I would love a doggie playmate in my FORever home. I don’t care about cats so I could share my home with them too. To meet me, please fill out our application here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/ or email us at info@FORrescue.net for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Truly, a Nashville Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
