Razor's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Razor's Story...
Razor is an 11 month old neutered male Pug mix. He is a small/medium sized dog. He is great with other dogs but his previous home did not have kids or cats around, so we recommend bringing your kids (if you have any) to see how he is with them. He is house trained and crate trained already and waiting for his new forever home!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

SHELTER HOURS: 1:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday - Thursday; 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday and Saturday; 1pm-4pm Sunday; Closed Monday. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Razor, a Staunton Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Pug/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
